Accenture trains our weavers!

Member of the Social Entrepreneur Academy, Soieries du Mékong has benefited from continuing training for its Cambodian teams.

La Fondation Accenture a formé les tisserandes de Banteay Chhmar aux rudiments de finance de base.

The Social Entrepreneur Academy program was created for the 1001 Fontaines association, which trains Cambodians from isolated rural areas to become entrepreneurs managing a drinking water station.

Accenture consultants designed the training modules intended for entrepreneurs, trainers and the on-site management team.

These modules, fun and fairly general, are in Khmer and take the form of a workshop. The existing modules have thus been adapted to the issues of Soieries du Mékong.

Implementation of these training courses were carried out thanks to the solidarity leave of Accenture consultants, who came to spend two weeks in Banteay Chmar.

We notably had a visit from Khalid and Elodie. Khalid trained Tean Kong and Srey Lang to understand the responsibilities of being a workshop leader.

Elodie spent time with the center director, Samrach, to provide him with training related to management, such as "Organizing your time", "Project management"... The team leaders of the production center were also able to benefit from of training.
